A great deal has changed here in Lakeland since we purchased our hometown electric utility in 1904. However, one thing has remained the same. Lakeland Electric was built on core values that have remained constant, yet facilitated exciting technological, environmental and economic advances within our community.
As one of the nation's more than 2,000 public power systems, our goal is to provide electricity as a public service in a caring, yet business-like manner and at a reasonable cost.
