One-Time Fee Based Online Payment

Payments made by 6pm will post same business day.

If your account is in jeopardy of disconnect you can make a one-time payment.  The fee for making a one-time payment is $3.50 per transaction.  (Fees are charged by the payment vendor, Lakeland Electric does not profit from these fees).  You can pay your Lakeland Electric bill online anytime!   Have your Lakeland Electric account number, and a bank account, credit or debit card number handy.

Payments made by 6pm will post same business day.

The fee for one-time phone payment is $3.50 per transaction. Customers may now access their utility account(s) by telephone 7 days a week/ 24 hours a day with no wait time to retrieve account balance and due date, make a payment, update your telephone number and request a payment extension if one is needed. Winter visitors or customers returning to the same location can also turn service back on, or turn service off with this feature. Additionally, our Customer Service representatives are available during normal business hours, 7:30am to 8:00pm, Monday through Friday* (*excluding holidays). 


eBill Paperless Billing (Free)

Easy Pay/Bank Draft (Free)

Easy Pay is a convenient way to pay your Lakeland Electric bill. Because your payment is automatically withdrawn from your bank account, you don’t have to worry about paying it on time.  You’ll still receive a monthly utility bill listing the amount and payment due date; however, 25 days from your bill date, the funds will be electronically transferred from your bank account (Electronic Funds Transfer/EFT). There’s no charge from Lakeland Electric for this service.

Drop Box Payments 


Payments placed in the drop box after 4pm will be processed on the next business day.

Check or Money Order payments can be placed in the drop box located at 501 E. Lemon Street, Lakeland, Florida 33801.

Alternate payment locations include Amscot, Fidelity, IPP/Softgate Systems, Moneygram, Speedpay and Western Union.  The fees and payment posting times vary by location.

Request an Extension

Sometimes customers need a little more time to pay their electric bills. Our online payment extension allows qualifying customers to enter into a binding agreement with Lakeland Electric to extend time to make payments.   Extensions can also be made using the 24-hour automated payment line or by signing into E-services prior to 6pm on the last day before a scheduled disconnection.

Please note the following:

    • The account must have a payment history in good standing.
    • The account must be active for at least 6 months with Lakeland Electric.
    • The last payment extension must be at least 90 days ago.
