Lakeland Electric Proudly Hosts The 2008 Florida Lineman Competition & 2nd Annual FMEA Electric Utility Career Day |
The 2001 Lineman Competition was held in Lakeland, and we are excited to host the 2008 Annual Florida Lineman Competition & FMEA Electric Utility Career Day. The career fair will be held on March 28th and the Competition begins on Saturday, March 29th. Both events will be held at the Lakeland Center.

This day-long competition tests the skills and training of Lineman teams from across the state of Florida. We anticipate that approximately fifty teams will be competing in this year’s event.
The FMEA Electric Utility Career Day will be held on March 28th in conjunction with the 2-day event, allowing students to talk with utility employees and learn about the tremendous job opportunities available in the utility industry.
