Easy Pay
Easy pay Graphic
Easy Pay is a convenient way to pay your Lakeland Electric bill. Because your payment is automatically withdrawn from your bank account, you don’t have to worry about paying it on time.

Sign-Up Is Simple
You’ll still receive a monthly utility bill listing the amount and payment due date, however, 20 days from your bill date, the funds will be electronically transferred from your bank account (Electronic Funds Transfer/EFT). There’s no charge from Lakeland Electric for this service.

Easy Pay Billing
Your utility bill will still be mailed directly to you; however, printed below the amount to be deducted from your bank account will be "EFT MM/DD" (Electronic Funds Transfer on the month and day). You will still be able to question your bill by calling Customer Service within 10 days of the date your meter was read, and your EFT payment will not be processed until the dispute is resolved. If notification is made after 10 days, the EFT payment may be deducted from your account and any adjustments will be made on the next month’s utility bill.

Insufficient Funds (NSF)
If your bank refuses to honor your EFT payment for any reason, Lakeland Electric will send you written notification. You must then pay your utility bill in full with cash or a money order before the next month’s bill is received. A NSF fee will be added to your account for each non-paid EFT transaction.

Should you decide to withdraw from the Easy Pay Program or close the account of the authorized bank, you must notify Lakeland Electric in writing.

It’s just as easy to sign up. Simply call (863) 834-9535 to get your Easy Pay Program Authorization & Agreement Form, or download our PDF Easy Pay Electronic Form (81kb download). Lakeland Electric will notify you in writing when your payments are to begin, but meanwhile, continue to pay your utility bill until you receive written notice.
