Third-Party Notification
If a loved one is forgetful about billing correspondence, Third Party Notification may help. Even though Lakeland Electric turns off utility service for delinquent bills only as a last resort, some customers may not be capable of responding in time to avoid a service interruption. With this service, bills are sent to both the customer and an interested third party - friend, neighbor or relative - designated by the customer.

While the third party has no obligation to pay the customer's bill, the notification ensures this caring person knows about the situation. This provides time to take action to avoid a disconnect. To learn more, call (863) 834-9535.
